Training is a key part of the speech therapy work we undertake at Bi-borough Children’s Services. Our Events Hub offers the latest training opportunities to help parents and professionals to communicate more effectively with babies through to teenagers.

Training for Professionals

Explore our various training opportunities for professionals working across the Bi-Borough within an education setting and/or with children who may have speech, language and communication needs.

The programme of upcoming sessions is always being updated.

  • Trainings can cover more Universal topics such as Safeguarding, Supporting Children in the Age of AI or Early Identification of needs.
  • There are also many sessions tailored to SLCNs or SEND such as Inclusive Practice for Deaf Learners, Introducing new teaching tools, or Behaviour Support and Positive Handling Training.
