This Bi-Borough Communication Hub is a children’s speech and language resource for children, parents and those working in the City of Westminster, and the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea. Working with schools, parents and early years’ services, this site offers free resources, training and professional advice, to advance natural development from birth to age 17.

Our approach
We champion a collaborative approach to speech, language and communication development, recognising that parents, teachers and carers all play an important role in helping children to communicate effectively. We believe the language journey begins the day you are born, so our resources cater to every age child; from babies learning to formulate their first set of sounds, to teenagers experimenting with complex speech patterns.
Our mission
Everything we do at Bi-borough Communication Hub is focussed on helping children to achieve their speech and language potential, whatever their ability. We understand that no two children are the same, so our services are delivered on the principle that communication flourishes best through sustained everyday interaction. We also advocate an emphasis on early intervention.
